"We had box seats and our waiter “forgot” our wine order while serving others that he took after our order. Line control coming in was nonexistent, people kept coming from all directions and created a mass mess getting in. Sir UB40 gave a good performance but it seemed like he was exhausted or not feeling well. This was probably about the 10th time we went to a UB40 concert. Will never return to the Hollywood Bowl after this experience. For $75 bottle I expect better service. It took 45+ minutes to get thru the main gate once in line, if you can call it a line. Jeff Beck was a nice addition. The venue left much to be desired. No soccer balls! Also, the closest hotels, within walking distance, are decent but watch walking in the area. Homeless sleep on the sidewalks and ask for money in the immediate area. He sat more than normal, didn’t do an encore (just said goodnight and left)."
